QUEENSLAND'S Biotechnology & Medical Devices Industry Forum

Vision: To lead the development of Queensland's Biotechnology and Medical Devices Industry through collective action and engagement with the key opinion leaders and industry associations.
  Announcements  
  • Join us at the Medical Technology Association of Australia's Brisbane Annual Networking Function on Wednesday 6 April 2011.  This is a great opportunity to hear more about the latest opportunities and issues for the medical technology industry. Please join the MTAA Board, CEO and your medical technology industry colleagues.  There is no charge for this event but please RSVP no later than Friday 1 April to reception@mtaa.org.au or call (02) 9900 0650. Light refreshments will be served.
  • It's official! The next major step in building a globally competitive life sciences industry in Queensland has been announced with the formation of Life Sciences Queensland (LSQ). LSQ will be an industry-led organisation, working in partnership with government, to provide leadership, promotion and growth opportunities for life sciences firms and organisations in Queensland.
  • Mentoring for Growth: Medical Devices and Biotechnology.  On the 4th of November 2010, four Queensland medical device companies participated in the DEEDI sponsored Mentoring for Growth: Medical Devices and Biotechnology.  An excellent panel of mentors from the business, investment and regulatory affairs sectors provided comprehensive and well-received advice on a range of business development, marketing and regulatory affairs issues.
